about

The sun is shining, the lambsbread is sweet! This classic bit of 1981 soundsystem tackle sees Jimmy Riley meet the Scientist in dub. This time round the master works his magic over tough Sly & Robbie Channel One rhythms, taking us deep into the heart of the dubspace. Less out there than other Scientist releases of the era, "World At War" takes the classic dub route, opting for frequency adjustment over batshit effects. All tracks recorded at Channel One by Prince Jammy, Scientist, Jimmy Riley, this top ranking dub comes cut at 45rpm - audiophile edition, for volume and quality for good measure.
